Dear Ming-Ting,
See http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/spm/1998-11/0006.html
I have appended below the main body of this help-line archive.
The code is still on my ftp site.
Best regards,
Kent Kiehl
(start old message)
I have put a file (conversion.tar.gz) on our anonymous ftp site
(penfield.med.ubc.ca) in pub/pickup/utils. This file contains two
subdirectories, volume_mri_convert and stim2analyze. Their are 4 (I
think) executables in the volume_mri_convert directory compiled for
solaris 2.x. By placing them in your path and then in the current
directory that you have your volume (I.xxx) slices, type
'volume_mri_convert' and the program will prompt you for the file type,
use 'I' then an output name (e.g., subject1) and then will convert GE
I.xxx images in that directory into an analyze file. If you like I can
supply you with some example images. I have only tested this code on
axial slice images. (this is for structural images)
If you are using Bryan Mock's reconstruction code (called
epirecon) then you have an option to save your files as 'stimulate'
files. If so, I recommend you do so, otherwise it will create an I.xxx.sx
file for each slice in your time series. This will quickly exceed the
unix limit on the number of files allowed in a directory.
If you are using Mock's code then the 'stim2analyze' program will
convert this data to analyze format images. Again we only collect our data
axially, so this is the only way I have tested the code.
Give it a shot, I will try and help out if you have problems.
Just a reminder, this is for research purposes, and you use the code at
your own risk.
