When SPM saves the descriptions of the images used (from spm_vol), it says
if the images were byte-swapped or not, rather than if they were big- or
little-endian. I could change the code in the image IO routines to fix this,
but this would mean that all the results from SPM99b would be unreadable
from within the final release of SPM99. We hope to have a fix for this problem
in SPM99 proper.
