In one of the Guardian's nuttier articles a few weeks back (I think it was
George Monbiot) it was claimed that the use of genetically modified rather
than genetically engineered was all part of some wheeze by science/Monsanto
to make it more acceptable - along the lines of Windscale to Sellafield.
I'm sure if that been the case, they would have come up with something such
as genetically enhanced or gene augmentation
