Hello,
I work as midwife in charge of the antenatal clinic at St Mary's Hospital in
London. I've been in midwifery for 11 years, 2 as CMW. I've run the ANC for
5 years but I maintain a small caseload to keep my skills up to date/remain
sane. These women are either staff or "vulnerable" e.g teens or unsupported.
My special interest in genetic counselling and health promotion and I hope
to commence a health promotion MSc this year.
I'm an internet addict and have voraciously sought out any midwifery list
that I could find. This brought 200 emails per day so I've now cut it down
to Fensende, Alaska, Ukmidwifery and Professional midwife (which I co
moderate).
I am very positive about another UK orientated list as some of the US stuff
goes right over my head.
Happy surfings!
