1999 Partnerships Technology Games to Offer Opportunity to Showcase
Interactive Health Innovations
In 1999, Partnerships for Networked Consumer Health Information will explore
how communication technology can support consumers and patients in a
partner-based health system. Partnerships '99 will collaborate with several
leading national organizations to reach a wide array of professional
audiences.
The Technology Games offer a premier opportunity for developers and vendors
of interactive health communication applications (e.g., health Web sites,
non-networked applications) to gain wide exposure and recognition for their
innovations. Experts, potential purchasers, and other attendees are invited
to "test drive" applications within the context of a friendly, informal
competition. This popular event is designed to encourage development of
high quality applications while being both entertaining and educational.
Everyone is encouraged to enter: individuals, companies, universities, civic
groups, and non-profit organizations.
