For those of you who know me (apologies to those who don't)....
I have now moved to The Royal Armouries, (National Museum of Arms and
Armour), Leeds, where I shall
be working as Science Officer in the Conservation Department. My future
work will continue to be in
archaeometallurgy, although there will be a shift in emphasis from
archaeological sites and materials towards more artefact-based research (I
think!).
The reshuffle followed Brian Gilmour's move from here back to Oxford, where
he is working freelance but has a desk at the Research Laboratory for
Archaeology and the History of Art.
Following my and Roger Doonan's (to Bournemouth Uni) departure, two new
appointments have been made at English Heritage's Ancient Monuments Lab.
These are David Dungworth and (temporarily at least) Paul Maclean.
Cheers,
David Starley PhD
