Research Fellow
Funded by ZENECA Agrochemicals and available for 2 years, you will be
required to develop methods for employing population dynamic models to
make statistically sound predictions for ecological impact assessment.
The project will build on methods developed by Dr Simon Wood for fitting
population dynamic models to population dynamic data, and will involve
close co-operation with Dr Tim Kedwards and colleagues at Zeneca's
ecological risk assessment section based at Jealott's Hill in Berkshire.
You should have good computer skills and a background in statistical
and/or ecological modelling. Candidates should have a PhD or expect to
obtain one shortly, although candidates without a PhD may be considered
if they have suitable experience.
Informal inquiries should be directed to Dr S Wood: [log in to unmask]
