Title: Data Mining _ Debunking the hype
Abstract: This presentation aims to give an overview of what data
mining means for organisations today and how it fits alongside more
"traditional" analytical methodology. Along the way we will introduce
a working definition for the data mining process, introduce some case
studies and challenge some of the standard myths which abound.
Note: The speaker has changed from the one previously advertised but
the talk is the same.
