Scheduling and Constraint Management Group
The Scheduling and Constraint Management Group is currently completing a
three-year project sponsored by EPSRC on Public Transport Driver Scheduling
through Metaheuristics and Constraint Programming. This Seminar presents
the results of that research, and of related research and practical
applications carried out by the Group. Please see
http://www.scs.leeds.ac.uk/sacm/seminar.html
for full details of the programme, which is summarised below.
The meeting will be held in the Active Learning Laboratory of the School of
Computer Studies. Participants are asked to register by 1 September using
a paper or electronic version of the attached form. A buffet lunch will be
provided.
In addition to the work reported here, the Group is undertaking research
into applications of Constraint Programming, Mathematical Programming and
Heuristics to a wide range of other scheduling and planning problems. See
http://www.scs.leeds.ac.uk/sacm for further information and links to other
activities.
