Has anyone out there successfully provided public access to sources on CD
ROMs via a networked system, rather than having to load the CDs directly
onto the individual computer being used? This seems to be particularly
necessary for the Mormon Family Search and 1881 Census, with dozens of CDs
to the set. We want the full set of CDs to live with our main server in
the office and be accessed by terminals in the public area. We have
investigated some CD juke box options but have yet to find a suitable
system. We would be very interested to hear from anyone who is tackling the
same problem, whether they have been successful or not.
