Can anyone point me to useful articles on New Zealand's
recent neo-liberal welfare experements?
I'm interested in alternative currency systems like LETS, Time
Dollars and Green Dollars. I'm planning a research trip to New
Zealand in March/April next year where I'll be visiting the New
Zealand Green Dollar Network conference as well as local
Green $ networks around the country.
I especially want to look at the role of local currencies within a
climate of what seems to me (from a-far) severe welfare retrenchment
- but need to do the background reading first!
I'd also like to hear from any New Zealand-based researchers in this
field that it might be appropariate to hook up with?
Regards
