A quick extract: ATLAS.ti "Plus" (with free Service Pack 2 downloadable
from our web site) supports WAV, SND and AU audio plus AVI, MPEG and MOV
(Quicktime) video files of arbitrary length. Segmentation granularity is
down to 1ms for audio files and 1 frame for video materials. Positioning
and "dis"playing of coded segments even in very large files is almost
instantaneously. Audio and video segments can be displayed alongside their
transcribed texts via hyperlinking and can of course be activated in-place.
A MediaControl tool supports loops and fine-trimming of media segments.
