Pat,
This is a recurrent theme in Dr. Siff's posts: the superior, pedantic,
and withering exposure of the inadequacies of others. In your list of
his belittlements you forgot "other people"; at the root of his
"insight" is always to be found his disdain for those not named Mel
Siff. In recent months he has toned down his specific criticism of
other professionals and decorates his proclamations enough open-minded
buzz words to induce the usual "thanks for the thought-provoking post"
responses, but here, and in other lists related to sports, athletic
training, etc. his patriarchal posturing continues to overpower any
self-imposed camouflage.
Thanks for noticing and for pointing it out. You were very diplomatic
and professional. This is more than I can do as Dr. Siff has kindly
pointed out in the past. Between you and me, I don't read his stuff
anymore.
