nice topic you've got started here... Regardless of the fact whether or not these
gentlemen need surgery... Here's my tip in order to motivate them in doing their
abdominal excercises (please note : I do NOT recommend any RECTUS ABDOMINI
exercises but try to focus on the OBLIQUES). I tell my patients to get the
following comparison of their diastasis and the way the diagonaly classical
shoe-laces : if you pull the laces, your shoes will close (get the picture ?). No
support if normal activity doesn't require such... We don't want them bellies to
become even weaker do we ?
