Dear Dana,
For medieval science and technology there is MedSci-L, a list which tends
to be inactive most of the time and comes to life only periodically once or
twice a year with brief exchanges. If you are interested in quadrivial
sciences, there are Hastro-L (history of astronomy) and Math-History-List
-- both very active but not primarily devoted to the medieval period --,
and there is Med-and-Ren-Music which I have not yet tried.
The technical info (regarding subscribing prodedures, list homepages or
list archives) about all these lists, and about MedFem-L, as well can be
found compiled on my _Homepage for Dante Studies_ (address below in my
signature), section _General Resources_, heading _E-Mail Discussion Lists_.
I have not upgraded this compilation recently, so if you find that some of
the technical info does not work for you please contact me off list.
Best,
Otfried
