Dear INT-LAWyers,
I would like to draw your attention to a new facility on the website of
the European Court of Human Rights: the Hudoc database. It contains the
full texts of all judgments of the Court, decisions and reports of the
Commission and resolutions of the Council of Ministers from the
beginning (1959) until now. In addition, for each document you will find
information on relevant national legislation, other case law, treaty
article(s) etc. The database can be searched by full-text of the
documents, title (case name), respondent (country), treaty article,
keyword(s) and date. Each document can also be downloaded as text-file.
The database has a backlog of about 1 month. Very recent court
judgments, however, can be found via the courts website > judgments and
decisions > full-text of recent judgments.
Website European Court of Human Rights:
http://www.dhcour.coe.fr/default.htm
You can enter the Hudoc database by clicking on the balance icon. Within
Hudoc it is adviced to use the advanced search screen of which the
direct address is:
