Based in Bjerringbro, Denmark, Grundfos is a world leading pump equipment
manufacturer for global industrial, architectural, municipal and
environmental markets. The increasing development requirement for
microprocessor based control systems means that we wish to develop an
"international best-practice" Man Machine Interface / Interaction Design
(MMI/IaD) competency in-house. We are committed to design excellence,
having won the Danish Industrial Design prize four times. Grundfos offer

IDEO are international strategic product development consultants, with
offices in the USA, Japan and Europe. IDEO Europe is involved in a
long-term partnership program with Grundfos to facilitate their new MMI/IaD
design functions. We are currently providing strategic design and training
services to Grundfos.
Grundfos wish to hire several key individuals to form a core competency

*****User Experience Manager*******
*Qualification*
Postgraduate degree in psychology or related discipline.
English language written and spoken, preferably with Danish language skills
in addition.

5 to 7 years' experience
Knowledge of UI design - preferably from work internationally
Knowledge of the functions, perceptions and understanding of the brain
Knowledge of communication and design
Good business and product design awareness
Interested in the effective use of IT

******Anthropologist / Behaviour Analyst******

Postgraduate degree in ethnography, anthropology or related subject.
English language written and spoken
*Experience*
3 to 5 years' experience
Experience in cultural analysis, ie, ideas on what is good & bad, beautiful
& ugly, and knowledge of the ways these norms manifest themselves in our
surroundings.
Ability to interview users to analyse their behavioural patterns, ability
to describe human behavioural patterns, to communicate users' perceptions
of reality.
Experience of field studies of people in connection with machines and/or
industrial products.
Experience of film making, or at least of the visual communication of ideas.

Strong visual design skills (Industrial or Graphic Design)
Strong skills in Rapid Prototyping tools (e.g. MacroMedia Director)
Strong skills in scenario writing and storyboarding
Knowledge of Computer I/O Technology - hardware and software
Good at presentations and communication
