I enjoyed your hard work, so it wasn't entirely in vain ;-)
As I see it, science is meta-culture, and as such partakes of a two-way
exchange with the broader culture, whatever that tradition may happen to
be in a particular locality.
Hence, science - communism, science - capitalism, science - Hinduism, science - Islam,
and so on.
The science - Christianity relationship has had longer than most to work itself
out.
I see post-modernism as emerging culture, and our conversation was a very small
exploration of how these two, p-m and science, might inter relate.
It is a particularly interesting area because it is novel and dynamic.
