I am writing to inquire as to which countries have "official" veterinary
physical therapy groups. We are investigating the possibility of starting
a WCPT subgroup for veterinary physical therapy. One of the requirements
for this is a letter of support from at least 6 member nations of WCPT.
These six nations must have an approved Veterinary group under their
association. Examples are the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in
Animal Therapy (ACPAT) of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (U.K.),
and the Orthopaedic Section, APTA, Inc., Veterinary Physical Therapy
Special Interest Group (USA).
Anyone with any information on this please e-mail me directly.
Thank you.
