International Speakers include
ï Dr Bruce Ritson, Consultant Psychiatrist with Health Care Substance
Misuse Directorate, Edinburgh. Dr Ritson is internationally regarded
for his work with alcohol addiction.
ï Assoc Prof. David Fergusson, Executive Director, Christchurch Health
Developmental Study, New Zealand. David's work has included the effects
of early onset cannabis use and psychosocial adjustment in young
adults.
ï Hubert Sacy, Director General of Educalcool, Montreal, Canada. Hubert
Sacy is well known for his work in community education and the use of
mass media.
ï Dr. Phylis Ellikson, RAND Corporation. Dr. Ellikson is highly regarded
for her research in school drug education programs.
ï Prof. David Hawkins, Dept. Social Work, University of Washington.
David Hawkins has become known for his work in community action and
crime prevention.
ï Dr. Susan Fisher, Centre for Research into the Social Impact of
Gambling, University of Plymouth, UK.
