Local History conference
Local History in the Curriculum
to be held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London on Saturday 6
March 1999. The conference is designed for teachers of all key
stages and those who use local history to enliven the curriculum.
Conference theme is 'Combining'. The V&A and other museums offer
many opportunities for combining history with geography, English,
music, art and design and technology, as well as ways of assisting
literacy.
