Dear Tom,

We have been using the term "versions" for different, but sequentially
developing versions of the English Dublin Core. I don't think we should
complicate matters by using "version" also for the non-English expressions
of the English definitions of the Dublin Core Elements etc. "Translation"
seems to be more appropriate, as for the most part, the multiple language
texts would be translations or close-to translated expressions of the
English text. If we kept to using "version" only for the sequential
development of the English Dublin Core, then it would be easier to indicate
the version number of the text used as the basis for the translation.
(Otherwise there might be some confusion as to which version was being
referred to). I am not sure if  "expression" would be very good as it
leaves alot open.
