Mark wonders why we get more debates on terminology than anything else. I
don't think any of this since the initial enquiry from Anita has been about
terminology, but about national/cultural differences in MEANING and
REPRESENTATION in relation to disability/impairment. It's the kind of thing
that always follows from enquiries about terminology because meaning is not
fixed but contingent. And that's what I find so fascinating (but then I'm a
postmodernist!).
I agree John, I like Jason's comments on negotiation. It seems to me that
anything else is negation,
