Subject: using speech recognition software
Given the steady advances in speech recognition software, eg Dragon Gate's
Naturally Speaking, etc., I'm wondering if anyone has been exploiting their
use recently not only in digitising verbal data for transfer to qualitative
software but perhaps in the field as a research tool itself?! Seems to me
that such packages have more to offer than simply acting as an aid in the
making of transcription throughputs, but I can't vision how to do it just
now.
Any examples, case studies out there?
