Well, as I understood Thomas Muhr he is dissatisfied with the description of atlas/ti,
not only with the judgement. And I think that facts must be okay, at least for good
journalists.

That is the best thing one can do. If you need the ftp-sites for most of the packages,

No, but correcting false facts. At least scientists should be able to describe
something correctly. WEll, opinions and personal taste are different, but that's not
