Another consideration is what you actually want from your research. As
well as analysing what people have said, you may also want to consider
building a model of the opinions using other tools, of which I am bound
to say Decision Explorer. We know that some Decision Explorer users
build models of the thoughts expressed in focus groups. This allows
them to not only see how people perceive the subject of the focus
group, but also to then go further and expand it with possible actions
that will help enhance positives or dispell negatives. This makes it a
"live" process rather than a static analysis.
Like I say, you have to work out what you are looking for first, then
choose the software. If you have multiple purposes, and one package
doesn't give it all to you, then get two or more.
