I see patients with chronic pain. For many of them, though pain was the
reason for their original consultation, now they have functional
problems which make many activities of Daily Life difficult.
Their posture, often a result of the pain they have experienced usually
takes a lot of work (on their part) to sort out.
If there is a drug that can take away pain, I can only see it as
a tool to assist in patient compliance. So often patients report
that they cannot do this or that because of their pain.
