Can it be that time again? Is Chirobashing season upon us again? It
must be since the British Medical Journal just published a pretty harsh
editorial questioning the value of chiropractic manipulation for both
acute and chronic LBP.

Issues raised include:
* holding chiropractic to a higher standard than is met by other
treatments
* the editorial implies that the evidence that manipulation can be
effective was not based upon chiropractic treatment.
* concerns about the safety of manipulation for LBP were made by citing
statistics regarding cervical manipulation
It seems like just yesterday that I was pointing out some of the
terrible ethical abuses and deeply inbred biases prevalent in the
physical therapy profession and already the healthcare provider bashing
season has come again.
