A new paper has gone on-line in Issue 5 of Internet Archaeology by Dominic
Powlesland, Heather Clemence and James Lyall called
'West Heslerton: WEB-CD - The application of HTML and WEB Tools for
creating a distributed excavation archive in the form of a WEB-CD'
http://intarch.ac.uk/journal/issue5/index.html
This paper sees the start of a new feature that will, with your help,
become commonplace in future issues of Internet Archaeology. We
are planning Issue 6 to be themed and our central topic for this issue
will be
'Archaeological Publication in the Digital Age'.
and we want _you_ to contribute! If you have a response to Powlesland et
al.'s 'preview' paper or if you have something you'd like to share on
_your_ experiences in working in hypertext, then we want to hear from you.
We have already secured a number of archaeologists who have
written and published their work with the electronic medium in mind but we
don't want this series to be static but rather to develop and grow as a
resource for anyone considering publishing or archiving their work in
this way... which is where YOU come in!
A fuller call for contributions can be found via the link in Issue 5 (url
above). The deadline for submissions on this theme is 30th November.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Please forward this message to
anyone you know who might be interested.
