Dear all,
First I want to thank the list operators and contributors for a very
valuable list. I also want to thank all those who sent me information on the
latest Habermas book.
I have another request which pertains directly to my ongoing research. I
need information on the Irish Amsterdam Treaty ratification debate, in
particular the positions and arguments that the political parties and
interest organisations presented during the referendum debate, as well as
newspaper articles. I wondered if anyone knows whether this information has
been collected by someone. If so, that would greatly facilitate my
research. You see, in Norway (Bergen) there is a social science research
archive facility (NSD) which has all the party programmes on CD-rom. Is
there a similar type of arrangement in Ireland or some sort of facilitate
that would have all this information so that I would not have to contact
each party/organization? I am of course grateful for any kind of
information on who to contact and how to obtain this information.
Sincerely,
John Erik Fossum
