I was under the impression the issue of patient confidentiality existed for
the benefit of the patient.
What is surley equally important is the ability of clinicians to exchange
views and experiences and to educate and be educated.
So lets not get overwhelmed by patient confidentiality but lets all adopt a
sensible approach.
I've so far seen no postings regarding case discussions where the individual
posting the case hasn't taken sensible steps to protect patient
confidentiality.
