Steve, around 4% of patients get re-directed and no, they don't try to come
back - certainly not for the present complaint and I would hope that the system
is educational re future problems. Given the close manner with which we need to
work alongside Gps they were consulted and they are on board - they need to be
when such a system is set up - given a properly presented argument in the first
place it would be difficult for them to disagree (in the UK anyway!) openly even
if they privately aren't pleased about, what after all is very small per
practice, increased workload. If anyone would like to chat further please mail
