Apologies if this is a question that's already been discussed on this list.
Has anyone used micro-disks for recording interviews? We're going to be
recording one-to-one interviews with prisoners and then transcribing them.
I've checked out the recording machines and the quality seems good (price
about 200 stlg each). I understand you can then use the micro disk in a
computer which has sound so that you just play the MD and type what you
hear without needing a separate transcribing machine. Presumably, you have
to have a computer which accepts MDs....
Any tips, suggestions, advice about this?
Many thanks
