They are great for the appropriate situation.
I use neuromuscular stimulators a lot in work conditioning programmes to
kickstart muscle activity in chronic musculoskeletal injuries/pain clients.
Also good to retrain VMOs in patello-femoral pain.
I use a small portable one which they can walk around with if necessary. It
is user friendly and compact and seems to go forever on one 9 volt battery!
