Dear Nicoletta,
Maps or diagrams of this kind can in fact be found in most standard
editions (e.g. Sapegno, Di Salvo, e tutti quanti), and I would think that
these should be easily available even on your present island :-)
However, if you want digital resources, my "Homepage for Dante Studies",
menu "Dante Resources", heading "Web based Dante Projects" (or "Major Dante
Sites", if you used the slightly different Menu of the JavaScript enhanced
version of my Homepage), lists several websites supplying diagrams of this
kind:
1) http://www.fausernet.novara.it/fauser/biblio/index042.htm
Giuseppe Bonghi's "Progetto Dante" in Novara offers, among other things,
introductory pages to the Commedia and to each cantica, and these pages
include also HTML tables with a detailed synopsis of the respective realm
and of the persons encountered there
2) http://www.ilt.columbia.edu/projects/dante/index.html
http://www.ilt.columbia.edu/projects/dante/maps/index.html
The Columbia Project "Digital Dante", menu "General Resources", heading
"maps" offers a collection of image files mapping the three realms
(including the diagrams of Sapegno's edition)
3) http://jefferson.village.virginia.edu/dante/
Debora Parker's site "The World of Dante" (Univ. of Virginia) includes a
"3D View of Dante's Inferno", for which you need my listing describes as
"VRML-capable Web browser or a VRML plug-in" (don't ask me what they are, I
only know that I don't have such things on my slow and underequipped PC)
Best wishes,
Otfried
