I don't know what your angle is (neuro,ortho etc...) but this paper
looks at postural adjustments and their impairment in hemiparetic subjects.
The discussion section presents an interesting model of neural mechanisms
to explain postural deficits. Weakness is one of the proposed mechanisms.
