EBHA Elections 1998
The European Business History Association has a Council of twelve
members elected for four year terms. Three members retire annually. In
1998 the 3 retiring Council members are Professors Even Lange, Hans Pohl
and Tony Slaven. Retiring members who have served one term may be
re-elected for a further term, but must then stand down for two years
before offering themselves again for re-election.
The EBHA Council calls for nominations for the three vacant Council
positions. Nominations should be sent by 10 October to Professor Geoffrey
Jones, Centre for International Business History, Economics Department, The
University of Reading, PO Box 218, Reading, RG6 6AA, UK. Fax: +44 118 975

themselves for election. Ballot papers will be sent out with the next
EBHA newsletter which will be posted on 5 November. Ballot papers must be
returned by end November and the election result will be announced on 4
December.
