Apologies if this is too off-topic for industrial archaeology ...
I am trying to find information about agricultural machinery made by
Bamford's of Uttoxeter (in the UK) in the 1930s, in particular about
their side rake and swath turners. The present J C Bamford company
apparently have very little in their archives from this period.
I'm not particularly sure where to look/ask on the net; a crude global
search on AltaVista produced nothing particularly useful (but that may
have been my fault). There *must* be a group somewhere that is
interested in these things!
If anyone has any pointers or sugestions I would be most appreciative.
Thanks
John
