More importantly, opiates do NOT depress the increase in pupillary size from III nerve damage. Frankly with CT and MR nowadays I
don't give a toss what the patient has received; if they are stuffed they are stuffed and even with a GA on board it can now be turned
off readily.
Oh, the same goes for ketamine, which would have been the drug of choice.
