The HSE will likely have the data you require - start with the
general help line 0541 545 500 but if they cannot help ask for a
contact in the office dealing with farm accidents (they were called
"Special Interest Groups (SIGs)" but I think they have recently changed their
name). You could also ask about relevant publications.
The Annual Reports (come out each October/November) have totals of
incidents recorded under RIDDOR or for specified Prescribed
Industrial Dieases (Anthrax, Brucellosis, etc.) The main tables have
been published as Statistical Supplements (?so the HSE can sell two
books!) Most librarys will have copies, I don't have mine to hand
but if you contact me direct I am sure I could help further.
Sorry, but I don't recall Welsh data - I think it is all just lumped
together with the rest of GB, unless the SIG can help.
The HSe also have a new booklet out on "SAfeguarding agricultutural
machinery" but I think that is aimed at designers, manufactures
but,no doubt will also include the users. (Ref HSG89 ISBN 0 7176
