Dear members,
My list of "Recent Books in Italian Studies" from yesterday has had
unexpected, and unexpectedly positive, feedback. Several members have
written to me privately, supplying additions and encouraging me to such
post booklists on a more regular basis to the list. I thank you all who
have replied, and promise that I will (if the imponderabilities of my
situation in real life will permit) post new booklists from now on each
month, including your additions in the next (October) booklist.
To make things easier for me, I invite you all to contribute by sending me
bibliographic items that you would like to see included. When doing so,
please do *not* hesitate to inform me also about your own publications:
self-advertising of this kind is regarded as a scholarly service and is
highly welcome. If you send me additional informations (table and/or
abstract of contents), I will also forward them by separate postings to the
whole list.
With best wishes to you all,
Otfried
