> SENIOR VISITING FELLOWSHIPS BETWEEN IRELAND AND OTHER
> COUNTRIES

> Senior Visiting Fellowships, administered by the Royal Irish
> Academy, are expected to be made available by the Department
> of Education and Science for short study visits of up to six
> weeks to and from the Republic of Ireland. Their purpose is
> to assist scientific and technical institutions in the
> Republic of Ireland to incorporate into their advance
> teaching and research programmes, the latest developments in
> other countries and to assist in the exchange of new
> knowledge and techniques. Commercial concerns engaged in
> research activities are not excluded.
