One of the things emerging from the last MODELS workshop was that (in
particular) the eLib projects (and others) should get together to
a) discuss collection level descriptions
b) discuss user profiles
As I understand it, these would be to both get a better precision for
these terms and define a set of semantics for the core contents of these
(Given a core set of semantics, individual projects could decide for
themselves how to store these, and add additional functionality, whilst
knowing that mechanisms for exchanging to core set could be derived).
To date very little has happened on these (at least as far as I'm
aware), although I know that the clumps projects have been discussing
getting together over the former.
Is there something in the pipeline? Are there any volunteers for
organising something?
