The introductory text of the call is as follows:
"In the general framework of the Council Decision 87/95/EC concerning the
implementation of standardization policy and measures in the field of
Information and Communication Technologies, the European Commission
invites the submission of proposals for Standardization projects for the
Information Society (ISIS/SPRITE-S2) along the lines indicated in the
present Call for Proposals.
"Eligible organisations are invited to submit proposals for
"* Êdevelopment, application, validation and demonstration projects
"* actions in support of education, promotion of best practice and
awareness building
"Proposing consortia should normally consist of at least two partners from
different Member States. On an exceptional basis, proposals from one
organization may be considered if the European added value of the proposal
can be demonstrated beyond doubt. "
The deadline for submissions is 15 September, 1998 5pm local Brussels time
at the address given in the call.
