UKOLN - Interoperability Focus
The Interoperability Focus is a strategically important national
initiative which will support the development of consensus and
collaborative frameworks for interoperability among library and
information services in the UK. It is funded by the JISC and the
British Library and will be a part of the activities of UKOLN (UK
Office for Library and Information Networking). We are looking for a
dynamic individual to provide this service, in the association with
UKOLN colleagues. The post holder should combine a strategic
understanding of technologies and standards supporting distributed
library and information applications, an ability to communicate and
build consensus, and an understanding of emerging networked library
services. Knowledge of relevant work in archives, museums, the book
world, and related areas would be advantage. Suitable candidates may
also co-ordinate related work within UKOLN.

The salary will be in the range of £17,958 - £25,535 or £24,591 -
£29,048 according to qualifications and experience.
