David Sibley's "Geographies of Exclusion: Society and Difference in the
West" has 245 entries in the bibliography. 2 are in french, the rest in
English. All the publishers and journals are UK or US with 11 exceptions.
Two of these are also Anglo, from Australia and Canada. Six places of
publication are outside the Anglophone world, 5 of these texts are in
English. 2 articles are in journals from outside the Anglo academic
world, one journal I can not place.
This is 11 more exceptions than some other authors. However you would
(again) think that reading all these texts on exclusion, academic
structures and knowledge would encourage more than 1 percent of
non-English titles. Again, apparently not....
