Integrating Concepts of Manipulation - University of East Anglia(UEA)
This is the third of a series of manipulation units held at UEA. The curriculum is based on a variety of theories and concepts for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. These include muscle imbalance, Cyriax, McKenzie, Biology of aches and pains, Combined Movements, Nags/Snags, manipulation and osteopathy.
The units is open to Chartered Physiotherapists/State Registered Physiotherapists who have completed units in peripheral and spinal manipulation, and to those who have reasonable experience in this speciality.
Format
3 weeks residential attendance at UEA (7-25 September 1998)
2 days at UEA to conclude unit (17-18 December 1998)
a 3 week clinical placement to be taken during the interim 2 months. This is organised separately by Jill Guymer and the cost (approx. £700.00) is not included in the UEA fee.
