A long time ago (I think about 14 years, time flies !) I saw a small group
of claudication patients as individuals. I was trying to see if connective
tissue massage would make any difference to their symptoms. I remember
walking along the hospital corridoor with them
to attempt to get an objective measurement of their claudication distance.
What was interesting was that some of them did improve, but they became
limited by angina instead ! ie beware of lurking cardiac problems too (no
surprise really as the pathology is of course identical). Nikki Adams
