Many thanks for your reply: My case history becomes even more disappointing:
The patient was re-X-rayed at her consultant appointment, and the head-stem
assembly had become disrupted. A second arthroplasty (larger head component)
has been performed. Inevitably, we will be even more cautious this time
around, so I am not leaping for joy with anticipation. The surgeon states
that he has not encountered this problem before, and I'm sur none of us wish
to again. There are no adverse incidents reported during rehab.
