I'm inclined to agree with Simon re: 7.3 Relation Syntax
When I sent the note out asking for comment there was an uncontested
proposal to use the space delimiter, but no mention of dropping the
relation "types". Given the WC3's view of metadata as being _machine
readable_ information about information, I don't think

is going to expose itself very well to search engines or agents. I'm
actually even a little concerned about using an example that includes the
date of a different resource in the Relation element of the present
resource. Even though the date is needed to uniquely identify the related
resource, I think it may create a misleading example of preferred usage for
new users.
